Teapot with Spoon

"Teapot with Spoon", 10 x 12 In, Oil on Museum Board
This is an old teapot without a lid that came from a box in my sister's storage unit and probably belonged to my mother or grandmother. My goal in this painting was simply to work with shapes and values and experiment with paint application.

Purchase this unframed painting.

  1. Mission accomplished! I like the paint application, I can really sense the volume of the pieces! Nice painting!

  2. This one jumped to the top of the fave list.

  3. Really lovely! I like the unblended blocks of color. My eye blends them together to create the shadows and light. Love this one!

  4. Wow! Great experiment; it's beautiful.

  5. Thank you all for your comments--I really appreciate your feedback!
