Still Life with Pitcher - NFS

"Still Life with Pitcher", 10 x 12, Oil on Museum Board
Fooling around with color and smushing around the paint are the most fun things about this process. The evolution of a painting, from the beginning idea of composition to all the corners turned in execution, is sometimes the most surprising thing.

  1. Your composition is good and your objects are beautifully painted. The whites have lovely colors! Well done!

  2. Yellow and purple have never looked so good. Great looking painting. You are incredible with color. And all...

  3. I am fixated on that pitcher! I love it! I also love how you used purples and lavenders all around the painting. Just lovely.
