Yellow Cup

"Yellow Cup", 9 x 9 In, Oil on Museum Board
I'm trying to do more still lifes with a perspective looking down on the objects, not something I ordinarily do, so it is challenging for me. I love the design possibilities for this type of perspective.

  6. Painting the simple ordinary objects of life is one of the best challenges for an artist: to find meaning in the everyday. This picture is beautiful. I love looking inside the interior of the cup!
