"Desert Bush", 8 x 10 In, Oil on Museum Board
This time of year is both dark and distracting. The sun goes down about 4 pm. There are too many things to do. It is easier to do fast painting and that suits me. This is a fast painting from a simple photo of a desert bush.
Purchase this unframed painting.

It's nice to view a sunny painting like this on these days when the sun goes down at 4pm.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe this is from a photo as I feel as if I am there. Beautiful color harmony.
ReplyDeleteJust love these warm, buttery brushstrokes.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind comments. I've been tracking the webcam up at Paradise and am amazed to learn that it is often beautiful there when it is overcast and gloomy down here in the Puget Sound Basin. I guess I should have known that!
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful.
