Yellow Cup

"Yellow Cup", 9 x 9 In, Oil on Museum Board
I'm trying to do more still lifes with a perspective looking down on the objects, not something I ordinarily do, so it is challenging for me. I love the design possibilities for this type of perspective.

    Perfect with the purple.

  2. you got these cups perfectly! I like the yellow inside. I want to do more paintings looking down on things too.

  3. I really like this one. Love that yellow cup!

  4. Wonderful job on keeping all the many ellipses correct. Love that yellow color! In love with all the gorgeous value changes. Sweet!

  5. Thank you all for the comments and the encouragement!

  6. Painting the simple ordinary objects of life is one of the best challenges for an artist: to find meaning in the everyday. This picture is beautiful. I love looking inside the interior of the cup!
