"Girl in Hooded Cloak", 6 x 6 In, Oil on Museum Board NFS
This is another small format painting. I'm finding it interesting to switch between these very small paintings and larger ones.
Kathryn, When I saw this painting, I couldn't help but think of a quote by Charles Hawthorne on the way to approach painting. He said, "the mechanics of putting one spot of color next to another - the fundamental thing."
Wonderful

What a great piece. No wonder its NFS.
ReplyDeleteGraet piece to keep.
Lovely brushwork and color, Kathryn. I also enjoy the shift from smaller to larger works. Looking forward to following your blog.
