"Falls at Many Glacier", Oil on Panel, 11 x 14 SOLD
Back behind the lodge at Many Glacier the lake empties into a stream. They told us that if we kept hiking down the trail here, we would likely encounter bears.
Congratulations to my amazing niece, Erica, who summited Ama-Dablam in Nepal on 11/11/11--22,525 feet elevation!

First, I like this composition. I like how the stream meanders from a distance into the foreground. I like the dark trees on the right and the pale peaks in the distance.
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful color choices here. The use of whites in the water suggest the turbulence and light reflections with just a few strokes. And I love that touch of turquoise!
Virginia--thank you so much for your comment! I took a look at your blog and I like what you are working on--its a wonderful plan to work through exercises--an idea that is dear to my own heart. Sometimes I need structure to really work on just one or two things.
