White Rose White Vase - SOLD

"White Rose White Vase", 10 x 8 In, Oil on Museum Board
It is 4:30 pm and nearly dark. Not only do we have the darkest day of the year tomorrow but tonight a complete lunar eclipse that peaks at 12:17 pm PST. According to the US Naval Observatory, the last instance of an eclipse matching the same calendar date as the solstice was Dec. 21, 1638.

  1. Beautiful white vase! Your background colors are lovely, too, and I like seeing your brush strokes.

  2. The whites of the rose and vase are set off beautifully by the warmth of the background. Really lovely!

We were fogbound here, so there was no way to view the eclipse. Disappointing.
