ReplyDeleteSherrie--thanks for your comment! Sometimes they are fast and sort of effortless, but many times they are not. Sometimes, if I don't like the initial result, I scrape off excess paint and then repaint. Despite the simplicity of this view, on this painting I didn't like the original composition so I scraped it and changed it.
