I'm posting early today because I need to clean my house for the holidays. You know you've turned a corner when you're so obsessed with painting that cleaning the house, holiday shopping and wrapping presents feels like something you use to do in the past, but you can't exactly remember when. My neighbor showed me his faux Christmas tree last night, complete with pre-wired lights, but so far we still go out to the tree farm and get a real one, though we get a pre-cut one in the barn rather than walk a mile with a hand saw in the rain to find the perfect one.
