"Road to Long Beach", 11 x 14 In, Oil On Museum Board
When we drove down to Long Beach on the southwest coast of Washington State there was a beautiful sunset which photos cannot convey, so the painting has to have some memory in it.

ReplyDeleteKathryn,
ReplyDeleteThis is really great as so many of your paintings are. You have a fine way with color.
I have followed your blog for several years ,now. I have a question about your use of Museum board. Is it accepted well by galleries and collectors? What ground, sealer do you use and surfaces do you treat?
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for all your comments. William--I have a pdf on the museum board. If you will send me your email address, I will send you the information. I originally got the idea of using museum board for small paintings from William Reese, who passed away a couple of years ago. I've never had any complaints about it, but I do get a particular brand.
