Roses in Green Vase - SOLD

"Roses in Green Vase", 14 x 11 In, Oil on Panel
You can probably tell that I'm not trying to paint perfect roses. What I'm trying to do is interpret the roses in order to work out cool and warm temperatures and darks and lights. There is always something to study with these paintings.

  3. I always love your flowers. I'm still mulling over someone telling you that you use too much white! I have always admired the muted colors in your paintings. I never thought you used too much white! I like the saturated colors too...I'm sure you'll like doing something different for a change. But either way, your style is always beautiful!

  5. Thank you all. I'm still pondering the too much white as well. All I can tell you right now is that I have come to see I have a habit of dipping liberally into the white without thinking about it. Any advice that questions unthinking habits is good in my book.
