Before the Wind Came Up

"Before the Wind Came Up", 9 x 12 In, Oil on Panel
This scene in front of my studio is ever changing and often in the morning there is a stillness before the wind comes up.

  1. Kathryn, this painting has so many good things about it. You did a great job creating the feel of looking out over the water. The touch of pink in the sky gives it a nice atmospheric quality. I like the variety in your greens of warms and cools. What a nice view to have from your studio.

  2. Fay--thank you for the comment--I appreciate it!
