I can feel that I'm coming to the end of this series of paintings from Southwest Utah--a few more paintings, maybe. Yesterday I painted two and scraped both of them. But what will come next? In this little painting, I hope I conveyed some sense of the vastness of the land.
I am from the West and I feel that you have captured the vast exspanse of prarie and sky. I like the outcropping of green in the foreground that resembles sage.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice series. The composition, palette and brushwork are all wonderful, and definitely makes me feel the western US. It is hard to decide which one I like the best.
