This painting was based on the "limited stroke" exercise, but I did end up smushing the paint a bit rather than sticking to discrete strokes. This funny little dog belonged to the owners of the Yuhu Guest House, where we stayed for a week at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Yunnan Province, Western China.
