Monterey Wharf

"Monterey Wharf", 10 x 12 In, Oil on Museum Board
My friend Jeanne Edwards and I were down on the beach by the wharf, out of sight of the other 500 some painters up top that day at the Plein Air Convention in Monterey.

Purchase this unframed painting for $265.
Contact me if you would like to purchase a plein air frame.

  1. Beautiful color harmonies and paint application Kathryn! I want to thank you on the head up for the Berberian workshop in France. It was wonderful to see Ovanes demo, he's a wonderful instructor. Many thanks to you.

  2. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the color and active brushwork.

Reading Bruce above and did not know you were an admirer of Ovanis, too. I went to his place near Rexburg in 96 when I wanted to learn about color. He is still the best on that subject I ever had.
