Angoin - Sold

"Angoin", 8 x 10 In, Oil on Canvas
This is a painting of the chalet we stayed at in Burgundy in May. Mainly I was experimenting with painting on a heavy weave canvas, something I've not done for years.

There is a Plein Air Washington event in the San Juan's July 22-28, sponsored by the San Juan Preservation Trust. I will be staying on Lopez Island. If anyone is looking for a place to stay, please contact me!

  1. I love this, Kathryn! I love how you used the blues and purples in the shadow sides of the building and the bright sunlit sides. Really nice!
